underscores is the stage name of Filipino-American electronic musician April Harper Grey, a San Francisco-born, NYC-based artist known for genre-bending music blending hyperpop, indie, dubstep, and electronic sounds, gaining fame with albums Fishmonger (2021) and Wallsocket (2023), praised for their unique production and thematic depth, especially regarding queer and small-town experiences.
