Rosa Walton is entering a new chapter in her career with the announcement of her first solo album, Tell Me It’s A Dream. The record, described as her most personal and wide-ranging work so far, will be released on 5 June 2026 through Transgressive Records. Alongside the announcement, Walton has shared the album’s first single, “Sorry Anyway”, an upbeat, hook-filled track that celebrates self-acceptance and individuality.
Widely recognised as one half of the Norwich experimental pop duo Let's Eat Grandma, Walton is now beginning a fresh creative journey on her own. The album broadens her musical landscape while still holding onto the emotional openness and ambition that have defined her work so far.
The new single “Sorry Anyway”, first played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 6 Music, reflects that outlook. With shimmering pop melodies and a spirited, confident tone, the song embraces flaws and authenticity. One of its most memorable lines — “If you want the lightning / There’s gonna be thunderbolts and rain” — highlights the track’s message, combining heartfelt honesty with an uplifting, energetic sound.
