Tessia (Norway), Vanitas, and Dál Riata join forces for a night of progressive, heavy, and melodic metal at Bannermans in Edinburgh on November 20th.

Tessia are a prog/death metal band from Bergen, Norway, known for crushing and dynamic songs that feature ambitious storytelling. Following the release of their concept album ‘The Cataclysm’, the band has been steadily building momentum across Europe with performances at Wacken Open Air and several other international festivals and events, alongside a growing reputation for intense and powerful live shows.

Joining them are UK symphonic progressive metal band Vanitas, blending progressive metal, djent and symphonic elements into their unique ‘cinematic djent’ sound. The band has shared stages with acts such as Monuments, Voyager and Galactic Empire, while also appearing at festivals including Burn It Down Festival and Bloodstock Festival.

Opening the night are Dál Riata, bringing their own powerful blend celtic themed melodic death metal!
